Director, Supply Chain Planning & Development at Oriola – Flexible within Sweden or the Nordic region

Are you a strategic leader passionate about planning excellence, transformation, and team development? We are looking for an experienced and forward-thinking Director, Supply Chain Planning & Development, to lead the evolution of our integrated planning processes and drive lasting impact across our global supply chain. As Director of Supply Chain Planning and Development, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and continuously improving planning processes across all company sites. Your work will ensure efficient operations, improved forecasting accuracy, and effective decision-making based on data and performance metrics. This is a key leadership role where you’ll lead high-impact transformation projects, build scalable and standardized supply chain practices, and nurture a culture of continuous improvement.

You will work cross-functionally with key stakeholders in operations, procurement, finance, and commercial teams to ensure alignment and deliver on our strategic objectives. Success in this role means leading change, building capability, and inspiring excellence throughout the organization.
Location: Espoo, Stockholm or Mölnlycke.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of integrated planning processes (forecasting, supply, inventory, and capacity)
  • Drive process standardization and improvement to support scalability and performance
  • Own forecasting accuracy and performance management through data-driven insights.
  • Deliver transformation projects on time, within scope and budget
  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing supply chain planning team
  • Enable strategic business decisions through planning tools, systems, and reporting
  • Promote cross-functional alignment to drive operational excellence

Your Profile

  • Proven leadership in end-to-end supply chain planning across multiple sites or regions
  • Strong track record in improving and standardizing planning processes for scale and efficiency
  • Experienced in driving S&OP processes and managing key performance indicators
  • Skilled in delivering complex, cross-functional transformation initiatives
  • Passionate about building and developing high-performing, growth-oriented teams
  • Excellent communicator and collaborator, capable of aligning diverse stakeholders
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken); other Nordic languages are a plus

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field
  • Extensive leadership experience in supply chain planning, operations, or transformation
  • Hands-on experience with ERP and planning tools (e.g., SAP, IFS, IBP, Power BI)
  • Demonstrated success in leading multi-site teams in dynamic environments
