As Executive Client Director at WPP Media, you are responsible for developing WPP’s largest clients. For us that is more than just about building the relationship it´s about being the person who truly understands the clients challenges and opportunities and can deliver on the KPIs and big bet goals, both present and future.
That means, you are a person, comfortable with being the go-to when things are tough, the one who brings clarity and direction into the mix when things are complex, and the one who takes initiative to push the boundaries of innovation, to make sure that we deliver clear and measurable success. In short, you are a true and trusted advisor.
We believe that, to be able to secure the best outcome for clients, your team and us as a business, you have spent more than ten years in a media agency or in very close proximity to our ways of working. You know what truly creates value, you instill confidence, and you excel at creating that “wow feeling” everyone hopes to have after a meeting. In addition, you are a person, genuinely curious about our business, the industry, and what Is coming, and want to be an active part in creating the future of media.

- You are good at identifying the right contacts on the client side and involving the team and your colleagues so that the client relationship is broadened to future proof all our relationships.

What you bring
- Minimum 10 years of experience leading and developing large, complex client relationships. We believe you come from within industry or have worked very closely with media agencies.
- Proven ability to drive growth that is visible for the client’s results and KPI´s
- You have great “people EQ” and a natural ability to build trust with clients, colleagues, and partners.
- You know media planning, media buying, and how a media agency really works when delivering in the best possible way.
- You are very comfortable talking about business KPI with the C-suite
- You have experience from contract negotiations and the ability to ensure the best outcome for clients and for WPP.
- You know the ins and outs of budgeting and forecasting and what good looks like.
- You enjoy the ability to influence, as you are collaborating closely with our senior agency leaders

This is one of WPP Media’s most senior roles. You are central to delivery and work closely with the Managing Director and the entire WPP organization. This offers great opportunities to build and influence something bigger.
