As the Press Officer/Presschef of Securitas, you will play a crucial role in managing and enhancing the public image of the company while providing essential support for its stakeholders. This position requires developing and executing strategic communication plans, managing media relations, and ensuring consistent and positive media coverage. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in crisis management and public relations, outstanding writing and communication skills, and the ability to perform well under pressure.
In this role, you will lead both proactive and reactive media relations, managing the entire process to ensure alignment with the company’s overarching strategy and current communication objectives. Operating within a complex international matrix organization, you will design and implement media relations initiatives in close partnership with senior internal stakeholders across multiple countries and business units, while fostering and sustaining strong relationships with media representatives and influential external opinion leaders worldwide. As crisis management is a key responsibility, you must be prepared to work flexible hours as needed to respond effectively to emerging situations across different time zones. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with the broader communications team – whose responsibilities span international markets-committed to a 360-degree approach to storytelling and news, to develop, train, and support a diverse group of company spokespeople for a global audience.
The role reports to VP Group Communications and is located at the HQ in Stockholm.
