Managing Director Sweden

We are partnering with a long-established, international company within the facility service industry to recruit a Managing Director for the Swedish organization. The company has a strong Nordic heritage and operates in over 20 countries, offering sustainable service solutions to a broad customer base in both hospitality and industrial sectors.

The organization is entering an ambitious growth and transformation phase, with a clear five-year strategy focused on commercial expansion, operational excellence, and sustainability leadership. Sweden is a strategically important market with significant potential for continued development.

The role
As Managing Director for Sweden, you will have full responsibility for the country’s business performance, operations, and team. You will lead and develop a small, experienced management team and ensure strong collaboration across all functions — sales, production, HR, finance, and customer service.

A key focus will be on driving profitable growth, strengthening customer relationships, and developing leadership and engagement across the organization. The role combines strategic direction with hands-on leadership and close interaction with both employees and customers.

You will report to the Regional SVP, be part of the regional leadership network, and play an active role in executing the company’s international growth agenda.

Main responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Swedish business in line with the group’s long-term strategy.
• Drive sales growth and customer retention through strong commercial leadership.
• Ensure efficient operations and continuous improvement across sites.
• Build a high-performing management team and foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and engagement.
• Represent the company externally and strengthen its market presence.
• Secure profitability, financial control, and compliance with group standards.

Background and experience

• Solid background in B2B service industries such as leasing, facility management, logistics, or industrial services.
• Proven commercial and leadership experience, ideally with P&L responsibility.
• Strong operational understanding and experience from multi-site environments.
• Experience in driving change and growth within a structured, process-oriented organization.
• University degree required; a Master’s degree is an advantage.
• Previous Managing Director experience is not required — this is an excellent opportunity for a senior commercial leader ready to take the next step.
